Read MoreI could listen to this over and over. I did. This was so empowering. I now realize how important it is to establish clear boundaries for myself with others and to implement them as a healthy way to be effective in life. I use to think other peoples opinions were more important, especially vocal people who were very outspoken. Now I see that it's important for me to establish and honor boundaries for myself so that I don't end up as I so often do, getting my feelings hurt and using up a lot of my energy licking my wounds. My new mantra is "It's okay to have boundaries." I use to think that I had to buck up and just continue on even though I knew for example I had to take a lunch break or a break. This was important for me to be effective at work even though others didn't take breaks as though it were something a weak person would do. I see this will be a challenge to implement but very worthwhile for self worth and self-esteem. Thank you Lori for an amazing and well structured class. I think this should be taught in schools.
